Sopranos. PC Opera Review. Muslim Kiss. Hubble, Van Gogh and God

CWTonySop.jpg
The Sopranos is back on Sunday and the controversial series promises to be another wild one. USA Today offers a A Sopranos guide to the universe and I offer an interview with Chris Seay on his book, “The Gospel According to Tony Soprano” for your use. (transcript and partial audio)

For this who love PC run amuck you will love the story about an LA Times opera review excised of “pro life” language.

For those who enjoy young filmmakers taking on sacred cows don’t miss the story of the documentary on a young filmmaker who ate only McDonalds for a month and got “super-sized!”

Reality TV has hit the Muslim world and a kiss has stirred moral indignation. And Hubble has posted a Van Gogh-like photo of “nature” at work. Who said God does not love art?

Have a great weekend. Slow down. Let your soul catch up with your body.

Remember, “these are the best of times and the worst of times, but they are the only times we have.” (For Now).
