Edward Jones: The Known World (Audio)

April 7 2004–Jones is announced as the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. Here is the audio of the Dick Staub interview. I recall it well. He arrived just on time and not feeling at all well. On tour, tired and fighting the flu, he was quiet, unassuming, and having read the book I knew–he was very talented. Most memorable to me is the process that birthed this book. It was in his head for years, and only after getting fired from the job that ‘put food on the table’, he finally followed his passion and put this story on paper.

Enjoy! (Click read more to get to audio or to order the book)
