Cultivate the Eternal Now

How little time I have to prepare for entering the eternity to come. This is not a comment on my age, advancing as it does each day and commemorated  this week in a marker useful in time not eternity, a birthday.

I am referring to my need to cultivate the eternal now in each moment of the day. Since God is the eternal now, a consistent and persistent entering of God’s presence now is the path to a seamless transition into the next life.
